Tipper fitted with a Berryman Loader, This method of loading a truck was very common in the 50s and 60s. The advent of Bobcats made them redundant, They operated by means of a Winch mounted under the body which pulled a scoop up the ramp into a frame which tipped the scoop into the truck. The man on the scoop is George Miso who was employed by the Snowy as an official photographer.
